As part of the ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) 2025, ASCOPE participated as a speaker in conjunction with the celebration of its 50th anniversary. ASCOPE was honored to open the parallel session titled “Oil and Gas Business Strategies in the Energy Transition Era,” contributing to a strategic dialogue that reflected ASEAN’s collective progress toward energy resilience and sustainability.

The session convened industry leaders and key stakeholders to exchange insights on how oil and gas companies can remain competitive while adapting to the demands of the energy transition. Discussions emphasized the alignment of business strategies with sustainability objectives, innovation, and regional cooperation.

Together with Ipieca and the Malaysia Gas Association, ASCOPE reaffirmed the importance of collaboration and practical, action-oriented approaches in enabling the oil and gas sector to advance credible and achievable low-carbon pathways.

Through the ASEAN Energy Business Forum, ASEAN delivered a clear and unified message: the region is not only discussing the energy transition, but is actively shaping it through collective action and partnership.
