MINISTRY OF MINES AND ENERGY CAMBODIA ( MME )
The Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) is a permanent institution of Cambodian government which was established in 1998. Its duties and responsibilities are to manage and develop both upstream and downstream activities of the petroleum industry.
VISION
The Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) aims to manage the petroleum resources of Cambodia, support the development of a successful domestic oil and gas industry that will bring cheaper petroleum energy sources for both industrial and domestic uses, provide petroleum energy supply security, and contribute to sustaining economic growth.
MISSION
- To develop and manage the petroleum sector

- To cooperate with Cambodia's regional and sovereign countries
- To encourage investment in petroleum sector
- To protect health, safety and environment
- To achieve first oil production in the near future
