The 45th ASCOPE Council Meeting hosted by Vietnam Oil & Gas Group (Petrovietnam) was held in Melia Hotel located in the heart of Hanoi City from 27^th November to 1^st December, 2019

With the theme: “Regional Cooperation for Sustainable Development”,  the 45^th ASCOPE Council Meeting will furnish a discussion of high-level leaders of ASEAN Oil & Gas Companies on emerging subjects of global energy transition, the challenge for sustainable development and how we can render smooth energy transition to support sustainable development.

The 45th ASCOPE Council Meeting has marked a milestone for Petrovietnam as ASCOPE Secretariat will be handed over to Petrovietnam from PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), Thailand with a 5-year tenure (2019-2024). This is the first time Petrovietnam has assumpted this important position thanks to the strong support from all member countries. Petrovietnam commits to contribute at our utmost capacity to the development of ASCOPE.
