On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the Policy, Research, and Capability Building Task Force (PRCBTF) Meeting was held in a series of events at the 49th ASCOPE Council Meeting. The event was held at Petronas Leadership Center in Selangor, Malaysia.
The meeting discussed the previous meeting at the 8th ASCOPE Mid-Year Task Force Meeting, progress, and plans for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 2025. The PRCBTF meeting was chaired by Mr. Muhammad Huzaini Ghazali, chairman of the PRCBTF, and was attended by PRCBTF members from other ASCOPE countries.

- Conduct a Study and Initiate Collaboration
- Implementing ASCOPE Capacity Building Program (ALDP-ASCOPE Learning Development Program)
- Sharing of experience in energy transformation among ASCOPE member countries
