Pertamina, as the ASCOPE Secretary in Charge, has released the Country Profiling Book, a publication that provides an overview of the energy landscape across 10 Southeast Asian countries. This book offers a comprehensive view of the energy sector, including the potential for collaboration among ASCOPE members. This document marks Pertamina’s strong commitment to strengthening cooperation, both through Government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B), as one of the objectives of the ASCOPE Secretariat for the next five years, from 2024 to 2029.

The creation of the Country Profiling Book is a tangible demonstration of Pertamina’s active role in strengthening regional energy collaboration. The book was officially launched during the 49th ASCOPE Council Meeting, held at the Petronas Leadership Center, Selangor, Malaysia, from October 1-3. It is expected to serve as a strategic source of information that will support cooperation among ASCOPE member countries and act as a platform for knowledge-sharing to address challenges and opportunities in the energy sector. Through the Country Profiling Book, Pertamina aims to enhance relations among ASCOPE member countries, drive innovation, and foster mutually beneficial cooperation in optimizing the energy potential within Southeast Asia.
